“LRP cicaplast is the only moisturizer I use. Make sure to rub it in more than you think you need to. I also started adding a couple drops of squalane from timeless to it before I put it in my face. The two combined together have been life changing for me. Since I started the two together, it’s like I don’t have rosacea anymore. The squalane also thins out the cicaplast.”

On its own, it’s not enough to sustain your barrier if used as a daily moisturizer; it’s basically petrolatum and a few other ingredients. It was originally marketed as a body cream, which is why the tub is ginormous. But if you are acne-prone, I wouldn’t recommend it.”

“I use LRP triple repair moisturizer (I apply it everywhere, face included) and dieux instant angel. Those are my holy grails. I also enjoy avene cicalfate but only over a serum as otherwise, it’s really hard to work in and I look like a ghost.…”

“…My fave products that help are: Allies of Skin azelaic acid, Dieux air angel and instant angel (instant angel is a heavier cream but does not feel greasy for me), and my LED mask (shark cryo glow). Also I’m not sure if this is luxe enough but I need to shout out the Tower 28 sos spray because it’s so soothing and calming.”

“Agreed with the others that it’s not worth the shipping, especially if you’re starting tret. I have sensitive, reactive skin & when I tried it, it burned. I’ve seen others here have a similar reaction. FWIW, since someone else mentioned Medik8, I really liked the Total Moisture Daily Cream & Advanced Night Ceramide. The night cream has a lavender scent, so be cautious of that if you’re sensitive to fragrances.”

“I’m infuriated by how perfume-y the box is. The cardboard absolutely reeks of strong florals, while the tube specifically says "Fragrance Free" in big letters. The formula is nothing special. Texture is a thin cream, poor spreadability, greasy shine to finish. I won’t rebuy.”

“It was “meh” for me. I have dry skin and it was not moisturizing enough for me. And it didn’t seem to do much beyond what a basic moisturizer that costs less would do. I like the eco-conscious tube and the general vibe and philosophy of the company. But this product was not worth it to me.”
