How the rankings work

Each report follows the same evidence-first workflow, from public discussion discovery to a transparent coverage ranking.

  1. Search public discussions

We find relevant product threads across communities, query variations, and useful time windows.

  2. Review buyer signals

We group recurring praise, complaints, fit questions, alternatives, and missing-data limits.

  3. Rank the evidence

Products are ordered by breadth and visibility inside that report’s source set—not by sponsorship.

What a rank means: it shows discussion coverage within a documented dataset. It does not prove product quality, safety, nutrition, sales, or universal fit.

Common questions

What Buyer Voice Lab rankings include, what they leave out, and how to read the evidence responsibly.

Are the rankings sponsored?

No. Sponsored placement does not determine the order. Rankings are based on the source set and method disclosed inside each report.

Do you analyze millions of Reddit comments?

We do not use that blanket claim. Every published report shows the actual number of source threads, comments present, comments reviewed, communities, time window, and known limits for its own dataset.

How is a product ranked?

The method looks at how broadly and repeatedly a product appears across the relevant source threads and reviewed discussion. A category report may add clearly disclosed fit or theme dimensions when the evidence supports them.

Does the number-one product mean it is best for everyone?

No. A higher position means stronger discussion coverage under that report’s method. Buyers should still check current labels, specifications, professional guidance, price, and personal fit.

Can I see where the findings came from?

Reports disclose their source scope and research limits, with source links or evidence panels where appropriate. Usernames may be omitted and comments may be paraphrased to protect privacy and avoid reproducing long passages.

How often are reports updated?

Update timing depends on the category and available public discussion. The date at the top of each report shows when its published source set was last reviewed.
